ECMdriod maps

MAPS

Below is a list of ECM Calibration files that can be easily loaded on to Buell ECMs using a BUELLtooth device and the free EcmDroid application.  To request a file please use the form at the bottom of the page.  These files contain the fuel and timing calibration (maps) made for bikes with a particular configuration.

On most bikes, with similar configurations, these will work quite well as is.  They can also be used as a good starting point for those that want to make a custom tune using the datalogging feature in EcmDroid and then software such as Megalogviewer, EcmSpy, or TunerPro.

Please note that the use of these files is at your own risk and that it is most likely a violation of local emissions laws to modify your ECM for use on public roadways.

Visit the TUTORIALS page for help with saving and loading ECM files and of course, save your original EEPROM file before loading a new one. This way, you can always revert back to it if necessary.  ECM programming is not recommended for anyone who does not fully understand the process and risks involved with changing the ECM EEPROM file.

REVISION-MOTO DOES NOT MAKE, SELL OR SUPPORT ANY SOFTWARE OR PROGRAMS USED WITH THIS DEVICE.  FOR SUPPORT YOU NEED TO CONTACT THE SELLER/AUTHOR OR UTILIZE AVAILABLE ONLINE RESOURCES.

IMPORTANT:  The ECM file used MUST match your ECM ID.  To find this,  connect EcmDroid to your bike and find the ECM ID shown at the top of the home page.  This 5 digit ID must match the first 5 digits of the file name you are loading (e.g. BUE2D, BUEGB).  Also, you obviously don't want to try loading an 1125 file onto an XB or vice-versa.

*Always perform a TPS reset using EcmDroid after loading a new EEPROM file.

All files are calibrated for use with a K&N or similar high flow air cleaner.

TUNE FILE REQUEST FORM

Please ensure that your information is complete and accurate. Due to the vast number of requestssent to us you may not receive a response if the required information is missing or if you can't be found in our customer database using your PayPal email address.

Before you start to fill out the form you must have the ECM ID which is found by following this TUTORIAL.  It is a 5 digit code that starts with the letter "B".  Pictures, part numbers, and other ECM descriptions are not sufficient.  Please note that we do not have specific tunes for "open exhaust", "custom muffler", or "stock muffler with valve wired open".  You must choose one tune from the list of available options.

Before doing any form of tuning you should check the current AFV setting.  This will tell you if the ECM is compensating for a mechanical issue that needs to be resolved before replacing or changing the ECM settings.  For instance, a number significantly higher than 100 could indicate a fuel delivery problem.  The AFV tutorial can be found HERE.

REMEMBER: YOU CANNOT FIX OR OVERCOME A MECHANICAL PROBLEM BY CHANGING THE "TUNE" ON YOUR ECM!
